Dr Siva is a Consultant Gynaecologist practising at St. Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital in addition to Ipswich General Hospital.
His private consulting rooms are located in the Lower Cameron House at 12 Roderick Street, Ipswich 4305.
In 2002, Siva began his career as a junior doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Glasgow, Scotland. He subsequently completed his specialist registrar training in Manchester, England. He was awarded MRCOG (Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK) in 2008. As part of his training, he completed advanced training in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Surgery. Following his specialist training, he completed a fellowship at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London on Sub-fertility and In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF). He has also been awarded a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2014.
Dr Siva offers comprehensive treatment for all gynaecological problems including abnormal menstrual/uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease,ovarian cysts, pap smear abnormalities, female bladder problems (including urinary incontinence) and pelvic organ (vaginal) prolapse. He can perform advanced laparoscopic surgery including diagnostic laparoscopies and laparoscopic hysterectomies. He also undertakes urodynamics for patients with female bladder problems such as urinary incontinence.
As part of managment of an overactive bladder, Dr Siva can perform intravesical Botox alongside cystoscopy.
