Haematology and Oncology

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital Infusion Centre specialises in the care and support of patients requiring infusion and cytotoxic therapies: for chronic illness and cancer including: chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions. Chemotherapy treatments and infusions are administered by our highly skilled, experienced nursing team working closely with your Doctor.

The nature of care we provide goes beyond purely the administration of infusions. Our staff are committed to looking after our patient’ emotional wellbeing and comfort, and recognise that is some cases treatment for oncology and haematologypatients can be part of a long journey. Patients, family members and carers are treated as individuals in a highly personal, compassionate and caring manner.

The spacious 8 chair centre allows family & friends to accompany patients in a bright and relaxed atmosphere with the availability of watching television, listening to music or utilising their own devices.

The centre is also fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers who serve drinks and lunch throughout the day to make patients stay more comfortable.

Scalp Cooling

We proudly offer scalp cooling for hair loss. Scalp cooling, also known as cold capping, is the only effective way to reduce and manage chemotherapy hair loss.

Bookings and Referrals

The Infusion Centre operates from Monday to Friday and bookings are by specialist referral and appointment only.

Free parking is available in the multistorey carpark off Pring Street in the dedicated Renal/Infusion Unit Spaces.
